Texas is the largest state in the mainland of the United States. So naturally, it’s a bit difficult to fit all of the worthwhile attractions into just one article. But we’ve done are best to compile the absolute must-see places. Here’s what you need to know for your Texas wheelchair van rentals adventure. Our first word of advice: start your adventure in Houston.

We have three locations in Houston. You can pick up your handicap van rental from Houston International Airport at 2800 N Terminal Rd. You can book in advance by calling 800-456-1371. You can also pick up from Houston Hobby International Airport at 7800 Airport Blvd, which you can reach by calling 800-456-1371. Or, finally, you can also go to our third location at 2315 W Holcombe Blvd.

The Space Center

Your first stop, without question, has got to be the Space Center in Houston. At a distance, sometimes it’s difficult to truly appreciate just how unfathomable space travel really is. Human flight, when you really think about it, is so far beyond anything that should be possible. But somehow, we’ve made it happen. And we’ve managed to utilize that ability to send humans to the moon. Learn all about it by taking one of their many tours through this totally accessible space travel museum.

Six Flags

Yes you read that correctly. Six Flags is just one of those experiences you shouldn’t miss. Whether you’re looking to spend some relaxing time with your family or are more of a thrill seeker, Six Flags has it all. Choose from over 50 unique rides, many of which are completely accessible to folks with physical disabilities. Just be sure to check your guide before you make your way across the park. The place is big enough that you could waste time if you don’t figure out in advance which rides you can and can’t board. While you’re there, why not get a photo with your favorite member of the Looney Tunes crew and/or the Justice League?

The Texas Aquarium

Pick your favorite awesome and adorable sea animal. We’ve all got a favorite. Then look up what time the show is at the Texas State Aquarium for that animal. Because surely, whatever it is, they’ve got a show for it. From dolphin and deep diver shows, to turtle and otter shows, they’ve got it all. From unbearably cute to downright fascinating aquatic life, if there’s any aquarium to find it in, it’s this one. Not to mention the 200-mile coral reef off the Gulf of Mexico right in the aquarium’s backyard! It’s the perfect opportunity to do something fun while learning something new.
