Customer Reviews

“I cannot compliment these folks enough. After being ROYALLY screwed by cabs in Las Vegas, they stepped in like the winged angels that they are, and saved our vacation. They made pick up and drop off very easy; the vehicle was immaculate, they explained the whole process in detail, and the operators were all very kind. I will continue to use their services every time we travel in the future. Thank you for saving our vacation!”

“Great company & people to deal with. Have rented from them numerous times, & everything has been a pleasure. The wheelchair vans are always very clean. We were so happy with them, that we purchased one of their vehicles. I would highly recommend them to anyone & everyone in need of a handicapped vehicle to rent or purchase.”
-Denise Christensen

“I have read the reviews and I must say what I experienced from them was far from all the negative. Wheelers really helped us out in a bind. We had rented through another company and the morning of our trip said they did not have a van for us as we were coming into town to see family. Called around and managed to get a hold of Heather over at Wheelers. She let us know they had a van available last minute! Worked with us to get it delivered upon landing and even sweet enough to pick it up from the house as we were staying long term! Definitely grateful and will without a doubt absolutely be renting from them again!!!”

-Joe Cotoia

“When you travel with a disabled child, convenience is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. The pick-up at the airport was no contact and a breeze. Friendly staff. Wheelers made it easy to travel knowing we would have transportation in an instant if needed. One less thing to worry about in a worryful daily life. Will definitely book with Wheelers again when traveling.”

Its landscape is a panorama of rolling hills and coastal plains, beckoning to outdoor enthusiasts. As for getting around, Alabama boasts an extensive network of highways including interstates like I-65 and I-20, offering easy travel within the state and beyond. Airports like Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International facilitate more distant journeys. More notably, cities like Birmingham, Huntsville, and Mobile have been amping up their wheelchair-accessible features, from sidewalks to curb cuts, making it increasingly easier for those with mobility needs to get around.
