Frequently Asked Questions
Do you deliver rental vans?

Yes, Wheelers delivers to most major airports and local locations of your choice. All Wheelers deliveries are done by a third party and are subject to additional fees and availability.

How much does it cost to rent a van?

Wheelers rates vary based on location and time of year. However, our rates include daily, weekly, and monthly rates. Needing it only for a weekend? No problem! We have weekend rates to suit your needs too! We also price match guarantee! Make sure you get the best rate possible! Call our associates to hear all of the current promotions and pricing or simply click here to request a quote.

Do you have roadside assistance if needed when I rent?

Absolutely. Your safety and peace of mind are important to us. We offer 24/7 roadside assistance, 365 days a year, so help is always just a call away. A knowledgeable team member is always on call, and we immediately coordinate with trusted local service providers to support you and get you back on the road as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Will a lot attendant be there to show me how to use the van and equipment?

Our rentals are completely contactless, so there isn’t a lot attendant on site. To make it easy and convenient for the disability community to rent and get on the road, we provide detailed instructional videos to guide you through using the van and its equipment. Plus, our experienced customer service team is always available to answer any questions or address any concerns.

What are the instructions for how to rent a van?

It’s simple! You can start your reservation online, call us at 800-456-1371 or 623-462-9488, or email Reservations@wheelersavr.com. Because everyone’s mobility and travel needs are unique, reservations aren’t confirmed until you speak with a live agent, ensuring you get the best van for
your needs.

Will my wheelchair or scooter fit?

All of our vans are ADA-compliant, but that doesn’t mean every wheelchair or scooter will fit perfectly. We understand that electric and manual wheelchairs and scooters come in many sizes, weights, modifications, and we cannot access your personal mobility equipment. We respect and honor the diverse needs of the disability community and provide videos, brochures upon request, and some guidance so you can make the best decision for your individual mobility needs.

Can I cancel or modify my reservation?

Yes! We understand that things come up and plans can change, and you may cancel or modify your reservation at any time.

Local Pick-Up:

  • Cancel greater than 2 full days before your reservation start date (by date, not start time) for a full refund.
  • Cancel 2 full days or less before the start date and you’ll receive a credit of rental fees minus a $100 fee.

Delivery Reservations:

  • Cancel greater than 3 full days before your reservation start date (by date, not start time) for a full refund.
  • Cancel 3 full days or less before the start date and you’ll receive a credit of rental fees minus a $100 fee.

Major Holidays:

  • Any reservation that includes a major holiday is non-cancellable, and no credit will be provided.

Modifications:
You may modify your reservation at any time. Changes made during the non-cancellation windows (2 full days or less for local pick-up, 3 full days or less for delivery) are considered a cancellation, and a credit may apply.

*Credits are valid for up to 1 year from the reservation start date at any corporate location.

Why we have this policy?
We know plans can change, and we want to make the process as fair as possible so that everyone in the disability community has a chance to rent the vehicle they need.
