If you’re passing through California, you can’t afford to miss out on the delicious street food eats in San Jose. Right smack in the middle of the state is foodie heaven. So don’t wait.

4 Must-Try Restaurants in San Jose

Pick up one of our San Jose wheelchair van rentals today and head into town, ASAP. And in case you’re tight on time, we’ve compiled a list of all of the best restaurants in the city. And they’re all perfectly wheelchair friendly. Here’s where to start.

A Slice Of New York

What’s a road trip without a gigantic greasy and delicious pizza pie? If you like pizza (who doesn’t), then this stop is a must. The owners take their sauce very seriously, and the crust is just the right amount of fluffiness. Not to mention the sheer size of the slices! The restaurant is located at 3443 Stevens Creek Blvd. Bear in mind that they have a little rivalry with another New York pizza spot called Bibo’s NY Pizza. We went with ASONY because of prices, above all.

Freshly Baked Eatery

If you’re more of a sandwich buff, the Freshly Baked Eatery has got the goods. You can’t count on spending no more than ten bucks per person. The selection is pretty standard. Roast beef. Turkey, Etc. The pastrami is immaculate and so is the spicy salami. They also have the option of building your own sandwich from a diverse selection of ingredients. But what really sets Freshly Baked apart from the rest is the bread. Oh the bread! Too good to pass up. Just be ready to wait in line, because you’re not the only one in San Jose who loves delicious sandwiches. The only issue is that it’s closed on weekends. So factor that into your schedule if you’re planning a trip. You can find this restaurant at 152 N. 3rd Street Ste. 101.

Mizu Sushi

Mouth watering yet? Ready to make this thing happen already! Not so fast. We haven’t even gotten to the sushi yet! Specialty sauces with just the right amount of spice and tang. An exotic selection and a fancy interior. You managed to save some bills with that $7 meal at the bakery. It’s time to splurge! You can find Mizu Sushi at 1035 South Winchester Blvd.

CREAM

Well you’ve made it through the day. You’ve indulged in some of the tastiest meals that California has to offer. But there still remains one last stop. Dessert! With two Ses because you’ll surely want seconds. CREAM is where you’ll find the chewiest chocolate chip cookies, the tastiest ice cream, and the friendliest ambience in town. The prices are more than reasonable and the place stays open until two in the morning on weekends and until midnight during the week. CREAM is located at 49th South 1st Street.
